Good morning everyone and yeah very warm welcome to our training on applying AI tools in the Horizon Europe proposal process. We are very happy to see so many of you here today. In fact, we've never had at least in my case a webinar by the FFG Academy with so many registrations and uh that's a clear sign to us how how relevant and timely this topic has become across Austrian and uh European institutions. So of course I asked Jet GPT in this case to provide us with a picture for today's training and here it is. So I'm going to be using this uh throughout the webinar. So I I hear someone. Yes. Um so just to briefly introduce us, my name is Astred Herberts. I'm uh from the Austrian Research Promotion Agency, FFG, from the department of European and international programs. I'm a trainer for many years in the FFG Academy and plus I'm also a national contact point for Horizon Europe in health, but that's kind of irrelevant today. So Sara, do you want to introduce yourself please? >> Yes. Uh I am um also your co-rainer to today from the side of FFG. My name is Sarah Gasparoni. I'm a national contact point for digital cluster 4 and I don't have that such a long experience as Astrid in FFG Academy but I'm making it right now. Uh I'm sure most of you know us as uh European international programs at FFG. We host all national contact points for EU for the EU framework program. So in short, we are here to support your European funding journey and national contact points are national advisors. Um all assistance is free of charge and uh we are financed by the governments of each country. So not only in Austria but also in all other European countries and many other countries worldwide. Our job is to give you support for Horizon Europe proposal writing and we do this via many different services. Not going to go into everything here but um today you are attending one of our training center FFG Academy trainings. We offer a lot of other trainings also on proposal writing for example or project management and we also have a lot of online information packages. the other services you see on this uh slide and um yeah if you have any questions about Horizon Europe just feel free to contact us so um a few words on netic um and how to ask questions we are a lot of people today and so you're muted by default um as I mentioned if you have problems with your bandwidth because we have so many people yeah turn off your video camera um during the presentation ations but so far things seem things things seem to be going fine.
